Pollan Bulk (6-9 per packet)

The pollan are a silvery herring-like freshwater fish of medium size (i.e., normally grow to about 30cm). They are a member of the salmon family and possess an adipose fin (fleshy fin between the dorsal fin and the tail). They are an excellent bait due to their natural ability to 'pop up' in the water. Most anglers fish them off the bottom as the Pollan is able to appear naturally in distress which in turn attracts a predator. They are a very sought after bait and are only available for short times of the year so if you like using Pollan it may be an idea to stock up your freezer whilst they are available. The bulk pack is ideal for those longer sessions and offers great value for money, there are between 6 and 9 per packet depending on size.
